Shrimp Scampi with Chives

2 T olive oil
2 T butter
4 minced garlic cloves
¼ to ½ tsp crushed red pepper
1 lb. raw jumbo shrimp, shelled, tails on
½ cup dry white wine
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup coarsely chopped chives
1 T fresh lemon juice

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine olive oil and butter. When butter melts, add garlic cloves and crushed red pepper. Cook 1 minute.

Add shrimp. Cook 1 minute. Turn shrimp. Add wine and salt. Cook 1 minute.

Remove from heat and stir in chives and lemon juice. Serve in bowls with crusty bread.
